Enterprise Resource Planning Projects Coordinator

Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and the Wolfram Language, is seeking a motivated, energetic, proactive individual with strong project coordination and organizational skills for the position of Enterprise Resource Planning Projects Coordinator in our Project and Process Management department. The Enterprise Resource Planning Projects Coordinator will assist in coordinating business-critical project releases that span many branches of the Wolfram technology stack, while interfacing with our operational and technical development teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, collaborative environment and has an enthusiasm for new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist project leads and managers to create and maintain project plans
  • Proactively manage the execution of project plans for multiple projects
  • Help create and maintain roadmaps and requirement lists with input from project stakeholders
  • Monitor and communicate the status, risks and resources for the entire project lifecycle
  • Create and maintain tickets, development sprints and other tracking as needed, with appropriate deadlines, watchers and follow-up
  • Identify, convey and track project milestones
  • Prepare agendas for meetings and assist with meetings as needed/directed
  • Record detailed notes from meetings with discussion details, decisions made, next steps and action items
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the company
  • Document and improve internal processes
  • Maintain project pages and dashboards
  • Monitor project metrics
  • Analyze internal and external product feedback and incorporate it into a roadmap
  • Actively problem solve and find creative solutions for project issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, physics or a related technical or quantitative field
  • Previous project coordination experience with software development and/or web development
  • Strong communication, documentation, organizational and analytic skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Proven ability to interact with cross-functional teams (for example: design, quality assurance, support and product development teams)
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet goals/deadlines with accuracy and reliability
  • High degree of initiative
  • Experience with quality assurance and general product testing
  • Experience with the Wolfram Language, Mathematica or other technical software
  • Interest in customer and user experience; a focus on business systems is a plus
