Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and the Wolfram Language, has an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented HR & Recruiting Assistant to join our HR department. This individual will support the HR and Recruiting teams in our fast-paced environment. How you’ll spend your days

  • Providing administrative assistance to the Human Resources and Recruiting departments
  • Assisting with day-to-day operations and employee requests
  • Auditing and maintaining employee files and HR systems
  • Processing required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases and other related employment matters
  • Assisting with the preparation of human resource reports, such as attendance, new hire and turnover reports
  • Ensuring company standards, policies and procedures are maintained
  • Supporting HR and Recruiting with their functions, meetings and special projects as needed

What we’re looking for

  • Associate's degree preferred but not required
  • Experience in a professional office setting
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
  • Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • The ability to handle yourself in a professional and unbiased manner in situations requiring discretion and confidentiality
  • The ability to handle multiple/changing tasks, priorities and deadlines
  • A high level of motivation and an approachable, can-do attitude
  • A strong desire to learn and grow along with the organization
  • Other business systems experience preferred (e.g. content management databases)
