Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and the Wolfram Language, is seeking a full-time Content Project Coordinator to join its Wolfram U team. Wolfram U offers a vast collection of training resources to the community, including interactive online courses, video courses, instructor-led courses, boot camps, study groups and webinars. Wolfram U content comes from a variety of sources. The Content Project Coordinator will be responsible for tracking and archiving tasks related to course materials, from kick-off meetings to deployment on Wolfram U webpages. The position requires excellent organizational skills, grammatical competence, an understanding of project pipelines and effective communication across teams. Familiarity with Wolfram Notebooks and a STEM-related background is desired.
Responsibilities

  • Collating course outlines and content
  • Generating course descriptions and verbiage for webpages and emails
  • Scheduling meetings with content developers, creating agendas and recording meeting notes
  • Creating and maintaining TWiki pages, spreadsheets and other project-tracking tools
  • Creating and tracking Jira tickets related to Wolfram U content projects
  • Maintaining up-to-date project status reports and performing routine reviews of them
  • Archiving course files and images

Requirements

  • BS or BA with a STEM-related background
  • Proven ability to meet project deadlines
  • Strong editing skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with Wolfram Notebooks
  • Familiarity with Jira/Atlassian project management software
