Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and the Wolfram Language, has an exciting opportunity for an International Business Development Executive to join our Sales team. The company is looking for a motivated individual with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to sell products and services to customers throughout Eastern Europe. This person will be considered a primary contact at Wolfram, using excellent presentation and interpersonal skills to work directly with current and potential license customers in the Eastern European, particularly Russian, market, as well as with sales partners in the region. Knowledge of the academic, commercial and government markets in Russia and Eastern Europe is required, and fluency in Russian is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow sales by:
    • Serving as the primary point of contact to grow B2B and B2C sales in the region
    • Meeting with and/or presenting to current and prospective customers in Eastern Europe, virtually and in person
    • Maintaining the sales pipeline of opportunities and closed sales as well as accurately providing forecasting information to sales management of expected sales
    • Expanding existing customers’ usage of Wolfram technology and services
    • Managing email, social media and in-person event marketing and lead generation campaigns
